From the end of April to the traditional finale on June 24th, St. John's Day, the popular but unfortunately far too short asparagus season lasts. The healthy asparagus spears were once grown only in monasteries and apothecary gardens as true panaceas and later served as royal vegetables to the rich and powerful.
Today, our kitchen team treats your palate with new creations from freshly harvested asparagus from the Lavanttal and East Tyrol – from soup to dessert. Complementing this, Martin recommends delicious wines.
