This is how I make my farmer’s ice cream
Lissi doesn't keep any secrets about her handcrafted, cool farm ice cream and shows how it's done
Milk from the farm is not a rarity. But when it comes creamy and cool melting and possibly tastes like chocolate, raspberry, or strawberry, Lissi Neuwirth is behind it. The dedicated farmer from Gundersheim believes that her 20 Fleckvieh cows have a truly "cool" life – in summer they graze on lush meadows, and in winter they spend their time in the loose housing in the barn on the first floor, with a view. And this life turns the fresh milk into an equally truly "cool" farm ice cream. What to pay attention to when making ice cream, what preparation and equipment are needed, how fruits are cut and herbs are plucked, how the flavorful ingredients get into the cream, and what to do so that in the end the favorite ice cream can be licked – this can be tried out on-site at Lissi's farm. Additionally, tips for storage, for spicing up your own ice cream varieties, and very special recipes will be provided. Handcrafted farm ice cream is the pure taste of nature and simply cool.
