The taste of organic pasture milk on Lesachtal mountain slopes and natural alpine pastures.

The perfect environment and pl enty of fresh air is what the ten dairy cows at “Ederhias” farm enjoy to produce their best milk. The cows share around 10 hectares of natural, lush and species-rich mountain meadows. Those diverse grasses, mountain herbs and meadow flowers form the most important food source for the cows. Sufficient exercise, spicy mountain air, sun and fresh grass at 1100 m above sea level guarantee the highest milk quality in this organic animal husbandry. At all different growing seasons: in summer from the first hay mowing in June to grazing in autumn - the production of organic pasture milk is made accessible to visitors of all age. Experience the taste of this high-quality, nutritious and full-bodied milk during a barefoot hike through the mountain meadows, followed by a tasting of homemade organic pasture milk specialties.
